Position Overview
The Gorge Amphitheatre is hiring seasonal hourly staff for the 2027 concert season. The role involves guest assistance, ancillary sales, and event support from May to early October.
Responsibilities- Greet all guests and assist in answering any questions they may have about the venue.
- Communicate daily specials on ancillary items, future ticket specials, and seat upgrades.
- Sell, distribute, collect and organize lawn chairs throughout the venue.
- Assist the Ancillary Manager in setting up and breaking down signs, tables, and tents as needed.
- Inventory merchandise and help keep track of inventory throughout the show.
- Work and be familiar with any and all ancillary areas.
- Proficient in operating electronic sales systems and processing transactions efficiently.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Must pass a pre‑employment background check.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Highly motivated and able to work independently.
- Acute sense of judgement, tact, and diplomacy.
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, including late evenings.
- Position requires constant walking, standing, occasional sitting outdoors in all weather conditions; lifting/carrying 25+ pounds.
The expected compensation for this position is $17.13 USD - $19.00 USD hourly.
