• Welcome and greet customers, answer questions, help locate items, and provide recommendations.
• Answer questions regarding types, cuts, and suggested preparation of meats.
• Wrap, label, and package meats in order to keep them fresh and prevent spoilage.
• Ensure displays and signage are accurate and attractive.
• Weigh, package, label, price, and display products.
• Perform quality inspections on meats and other products.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation controls.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Cooperate with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Use machines such as grinders or slicers to cut meat into smaller pieces.
• Package meat cuts or poultry in boxes or plastic bags for sale.
• Inspect products for damage or defects before wrapping them in plastic wrap or butcher paper.
• Wrap meats in plastic wrap or butcher paper in order to keep them fresh and prevent spoilage.
• Clean work areas and equipment after each use.
• Store items in refrigerators or freezers until they are ready to be sold.
• Slip plastic bags along seams with a knife or blade to make them easier to open.
• Wrap meat in plastic or paper for storage or shipping to other locations.
• Slice meat into thin strips using a band saw or other cutting device.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Candidates must be 18+ years or older.
