Retail Sales Floor - Valley Mall Union Gap Rack

Job Overview

Nordstrom Rack team members thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment. You’ll collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all customers, ensuring a quick and easy experience while keeping the store clean and clutter‑free.

• Assist customers with transactions at the point‑of‑sale system, bagging items of all sizes and handling bulky items.
• Create a smooth fitting‑room experience by greeting and assisting customers, sorting and returning clothing to the floor.
• Keep the sales floor and stockrooms organized, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in, ticketed, and merchandised.
• Support store operations, including re‑merchandising, straightening, coloring, and maintaining a “runway‑ready” display.
• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver new merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner, packing and shipping according to quality standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments.
• Assist with special events, markdowns, and fixture relocations.
• Promote initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program and adhere to all operational, merchandise, and asset‑protection standards.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching. Handle complimentary items weighing up to 10 pounds (occasionally 25 pounds). Stock and fulfillment work may require lifting up to 25 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.

Hourly: $17.75 – $18.45 (location dependent, based on knowledge, skills, and experience)
