Job Description

Kitchen Designers at The Home Depot help customers turn their kitchen and bath dreams into reality by greeting and engaging them, listening to their needs, and guiding them through the design process. They offer “good, better, best” options, provide samples, and give expert advice on products, services, and installation. Designers use design tools and showroom resources to educate customers, set clear expectations, and deliver tailored solutions for every project—whether the customer is a DIYer or working with professionals.

They advocate for customers by highlighting current promotions, financing options, and the benefits of choosing Home Depot over competitors. Designers keep the showroom clean, organized, and well‑stocked to create a welcoming environment and follow up on project status, answer questions, and guide customers every step of the way.

• Greet and engage customers, listening to their needs and guiding them through the design process.

• Use design tools and showroom resources to educate customers and set clear expectations.
• Provide tailored solutions for both DIY customers and professionals.
• Advocate for customers by highlighting promotions, financing options, and Home Depot advantages.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and stock levels.
• Follow up on project status, answer questions, and guide customers throughout the process.
