This role involves executing formulation stability studies, performing routine analytical tests, preparing buffers, conducting biophysical characterization assays, maintaining digital lab notebooks, and presenting findings in group and department meetings.
Responsibilities- Execute formulation stability studies
- Perform routine analytical tests such as size exclusion chromatography, pH, protein concentration, appearance testing, and subvisible particle analysis
- Prepare buffers for formulation studies and biophysical assays
- Perform biophysical characterization assays such as DSF, SINS, PEG solubility and chemical unfolding
- Maintain a digital lab notebook and organize data for projects
- Present data and results at group and department meetings
- BS (with 2 years of experience) or Masters (with 0‑1 years of experience) in biochemistry, chemistry, biophysics, chemical engineering, or related fields
- Experience with biophysical techniques
- Experience with protein analytical techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, capillary electrophoresis systems, spectroscopy, and rheology
- Experience handling and analyzing protein samples in a laboratory setting
- Experience with aseptic technique
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Experience working in a laboratory setting as part of a team

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $82,000 to $88,000. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401(k) company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
