Geology Assistant

Job Details

• FIFO or residential from Perth | Day shift only, 8/6 roster at Agnew
• Develop practical, hands‑on exploration geology experience across drilling programs

In this role, you will provide quality geology technical support to assist with safe and efficient exploration activities as part of our Exploration team at our Agnew Gold Mine.

• Permanent role with a leading gold producer
• 6% site allowance and quarterly bonus up to 10% annually
• Monthly private health allowance
• Minimum of 5 weeks annual leave and 2 weeks cultural leave
• 18 weeks parental leave
• $10K employee referral bonus

• Assist with AC/RC drilling programs including sampling and rock chip collection
• Support diamond drill core processing, cutting and sampling activities
• Maintain QAQC standards for sample handling and geological data collection
• Coordinate sample preparation and dispatch to assay laboratories
• Assist geologists with field‑based exploration activities and data recording

• Current manual driver’s licence and forklift licence
• Experience in a similar role within the mining/resources environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe work practices
