As an Armed Security Officer you will be part of a highly trained security team that supports essential operations. You will receive firearms training and marksmanship instruction from highly qualified instructors and be an integral part of Inter‑Con’s specialized security services.

• Hourly rate: $33.03/hour plus $6.87/hour “Health and Welfare” benefit.

• Citizen of the United States.
• Valid U.S. Enhanced Driver’s License (REAL ).
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Successful Federal Background check.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Honorable discharge if veteran of U.S. Armed Forces.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Active state weapons permit and state armed guard certification.
• At least one of the following:
• Two years of security experience within the past five years.
• Two years of military or National Guard (active duty or reserve).
• Successful completion of a state certified Law Enforcement Education and Training or Police Officer's Standard Training Course.

• Conduct functional checks of all equipment and systems upon assuming duties.
• Perform interior and exterior patrols throughout the shift.
• Conduct random foot patrols of buildings, inspect stairwells and work areas.
• Interact verbally with employees to convey active security presence.
• Remain alert for unusual, suspicious, or unauthorized activities.
• Monitor personnel traffic entering, exiting, and inside buildings.
• Respond to emergency situations involving the office complex.
