Employment Opportunity:
Position is located in Grand Coulee, WA. We provide customized security solutions for clients, matching the right officer to the right place and time. Armed Security Officers support critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues requiring enhanced security, and personal protective services. You will be trained by our firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. You are an integral part of the security services Inter-Con provides daily.

Specific benefits include:

• Hourly rate: $33.03/hour plus $6.87/hour Health and Welfare

• Be a Citizen of the United States
• Possess a valid U.S. Enhanced Driver's License (REAL )
• Be a minimum of 21 years of age or older
• Be able to successfully pass a Federal Background
• Provide documentation of completion of a high school diploma or GED
• Have an honorable discharge if a veteran of the US Armed Forces
• Fluent in both written and spoken English

• Possess an active state weapons permit and state armed guard certification
• Meet at least one of the following:
  • Two (2) years of security experience within past five (5) years or
  • Two years of military or National Guard service (active duty or reserve) or
  • Successful completion of a state certified Law Enforcement Education and Training or Police Officer’s Standard Training Course

• Conduct functional checks of all equipment and systems used on this post; report malfunctions or deficiencies per procedures
• Perform interior and exterior patrols of designated buildings during the shift
• Conduct patrols of the complex, parking areas, garages, etc.
• Interior patrols include random foot patrols of work areas; inspect stairwells, work areas, restrooms, lobbies and entrances
• Interact verbally with employees during rounds to convey active security operations
• Remain alert for unusual or unauthorized activities in and around the office complex
• Monitor personnel traffic entering, exiting, and inside buildings
• Monitor activities in main lobbies to maintain safety and security
• Respond to emergency situations involving the office complex
