What You'll Do

As a Fleet Service Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, trucks, and fleet vehicles to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnose, service, and repair Ford fleet vehicles
  • Perform DOT annual inspections
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
  • Complete welding and fabrication projects
  • Respond to emergency repair calls when needed
  • Use computer-based diagnostic and technical systems
  • Install and repair engines, transmissions, axles, hubs, injectors, pumps, hydraulic systems, and related components
  • Perform MIG, TIG, arc welding, brazing, aluminum welding, plasma cutting, and torch work
  • Ensure all equipment meets OSHA, WISHA, DOT, state, and local safety standards
  • Maintain accurate communication regarding repairs and equipment status
  • Assist other maintenance personnel and departments as needed
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of heavy equipment or fleet maintenance experience
  • Strong welding and fabrication skills
  • Experience working on a wide variety of equipment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Comfortable troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Basic hydraulic system knowledge
  • Ability to adapt and learn new systems and technologies
  • Must be able to do annual Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). driver's license required
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
