At Prince Telecom, LLC, as a Coax Splicing Foreman, you’ll complete the process of splicing coax cables, to build and maintain our telecommunication networks.
Your splicing work is essential for keeping strong and reliable connections, ensuring data travels seamlessly through our continually growing network. You'll serve as the on-site expert, offering guidance and support to less experienced team members.

- Safely perform coax splicing, troubleshooting, and testing both aerial and underground
- Repair out-of-service drops or cable cuts as necessary
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ensure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standards
- Splice coax cable for underground transfers and help with light laborer duties
- Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records
- Oversee and guide other onsite workers to ensure tasks are done safely and correctly
- Other duties as assigned
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card
- At least four years of experience splicing, placing, and testing coax strands
- Certified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber, is preferred
- Routinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 pounds
- Occasionally: use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles, keyboard, and mouse
The wage range for Foreman Coax Splicing is $27.00 - $31.00.
