Role Overview
A Field Services Technician II plays a key role in the setup, calibration, transportation, and maintenance of agricultural equipment for both branch and customer use. You'll help ensure safe, efficient operations while building strong working relationships with growers and team members in the field and at the branch.
What You’ll DoSet up, calibrate, transport, and operate agricultural equipment safely in customers' fields.
Assist with routine maintenance and safety checks on trucks, tractors, tanks, and ag equipment.
Move and install fertilizer tanks using proper materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety protocols following the manager's direction.
Maintain a clean, organized facility and comply with all company and legal operating standards.
Assist with responding to customer questions and escalating issues to management as needed.
Represent Wilbur-Ellis professionally and build strong relationships with growers and team members.
2+ years of experience and at least 18 years old
Valid driver's license with clean driving record required
Forklift experience (certification provided on the job) and willingness to operate pallet jacks, order pickers, and other material handling equipment
Mechanical aptitude, including basic knowledge of fabrication (e.g., welding) techniques and machine calibration
Physical ability to repetitively bend and lift 50 lbs.
Willingness and desire to work overtime during busy seasons
Class A CDL is preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent

You are mechanically inclined with a problem‑solving mindset.
You communicate clearly and professionally with both coworkers and customers.
The base compensation for this position ranges from $21.88 to $29.19 per hour. Wages may vary depending on skills and experience.
