Seeking an experienced Commercial Concreter to join our Team at Griffin Australia.
Griffin Australia is a fast growing Western Australian construction company specialising in commercial and industrial concrete works, concrete repair, remediation, grouting and protective coatings.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Concreter to join our team on a full time basis.
About the RoleThis is a hands on role suited to someone who takes pride in producing high quality concrete work and can confidently manage projects with minimal supervision.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Screeding and finishing concrete to a high standard.
- Setting out and preparing concrete jobs from start to finish.
- Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.
- Working independently and managing jobs without constant supervision.
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment.
- Working collaboratively with the Griffin team to deliver projects safely, on time and to a high standard.
- Minimum 3 years' commercial concreting experience (required).
- Demonstrated ability to screed and finish concrete to a high standard.
- Ability to set up and complete concrete works independently.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Current White Card.
- Current Australian Driver's License.
- Reliable, punctual and self motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Able to pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing.
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour.
- Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
- Excavator ticket.
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.
- Full time hours (including weekends when required).
- Ongoing work with a stable and growing company.

- Employment will commence as a casual contract for a six month probationary period. Upon successful completion of probation, the position will transition to a permanent full time position.
