Are you a skilled Cabinet Maker who takes pride in producing quality workmanship? Do you enjoy seeing a project through from the workshop to the final installation?

At AKT Construction, we're growing, and we're looking for an experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team. This isn't repetitive production-line work—you'll be involved in a variety of residential and commercial projects, creating custom cabinetry and high-quality fit-outs that you can genuinely be proud of.

• $44–$50 per hour, depending on experience

• 40-hour work week with paid lunch breaks

• Weekly pay and full leave entitlements

You'll split your time between our workshop and on-site installations, giving you plenty of variety throughout the week.

Your work will include:

• Manufacturing and assembling custom cabinetry from shop drawings and cutting lists

• Installing cabinetry to a high standard across residential and commercial projects

• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and hardware specifications

• Operating workshop machinery, hand tools and CNC equipment (where applicable)

• Working alongside our Project Managers, Draftsperson and wider construction team

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

• Delivering quality workmanship that you can take pride in

We're looking for someone who enjoys producing quality work and is a reliable member of the team.

You'll ideally have:

• Trade qualification in Cabinet Making or significant industry experience

• The ability to confidently read plans and work independently

• Excellent attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality finishes

• A current White Card and Australian Driver's Licence

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and team-first approach

• Australian working rights or a valid work visa

• CNC experience

• Forklift licence
