Dogwood Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support our modular construction operations. In this role, you'll maintain and repair production equipment, tools, and building systems used to manufacture rugged, relocatable industrial and defense facilities. You'll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and respond to breakdowns to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Working closely with engineering, manufacturing, and field teams, you'll help implement improvements, support installations, and ensure our modular buildings meet demanding quality and reliability standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on modular building production equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime
  • Inspect, test, and calibrate equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation
  • Support installation, commissioning, and modification of modular building systems and tools
  • Document maintenance activities in CMMS and communicate status with supervisors and production teams
  • Follow OSHA and company safety standards, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers, production, and field teams to improve equipment reliability
  • Assist with on-site setup, repairs, and punch-list work for modular building deployments
