DCS is searching for a performance‑driven Senior Software Engineer to support U.S. Army programs. The role focuses on analytical, financial, logistics, engineering, technical support, and the management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. Candidates should be ready to take on meaningful challenges, contribute to innovative solutions, and help shape the future of a fast‑evolving mission space. This position will support multiple locations.
Responsibilities- Build high‑quality, innovative, and fully performing software in compliance with DOD coding standards and technical design.
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
- Support and/or install software applications/operating systems.
- Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.
- U.S. citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer‑related requirements.
- BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Computer Programming, with 10 to 12 years of experience as a software engineer within the DOD environment, OR1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree‑related post‑secondary program for 1 year of experience. (Additional 3 years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.)
