Tessera is seeking a dependable and skilled Railroad Repairer to support safe and efficient rail operations at Naval Base Kitsap, Bangor.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the reliability of military and contractor rail traffic by inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding track systems, switches, and crossings. Your work will directly contribute to mission readiness and logistics by ensuring that all rail infrastructure meets federal safety standards, military protocols, and operational requirements. From performing preventative maintenance and track alignment to responding to emergency situations caused by weather or operational incidents, you will help safeguard critical transportation routes.

* Qualifications:

** Conductor or Brakeman certification/license (preferred) and will be required within the first year. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Transportation and Rail or closely related field. Knowledge of FRA (Federal Railroad Administration) safety regulations

** Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.  May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
** Requirements:
** A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
