Experienced Equipment Operator

Overview

Vail Resorts is hiring an Experienced Equipment Operator for our seasonal mountain operations across 40+ resorts worldwide.

This role operates trucks, tractors, and other equipment for street and utility repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities.

• Starting Wage: $21.47/hr - $26.29/hr

• Operate all equipment used by the Mountain Operations team.
• Monitor equipment, promptly address issues, and communicate with Vehicle Maintenance.
• Perform physical labor required by the broad scope of positions.
• Maintain signs, execute repairs, and conduct general maintenance.
• Take directions and work as part of a team.
• Accurately troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• At least 1 year heavy equipment experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Class A or B CDL license required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.
• Must live within 50 miles of Sumner, WA (zip 98390).
