Delivery Driver

Job Description

The main responsibility of a Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver is to deliver orders to the designated locations on time, ensuring punctuality, honesty, and courteous service. Drivers must know how to read basic road maps, maintain delivery vehicles, aid in food preparation, take customer orders, perform cleaning duties, and rotate food shipments that may require lifting up to 50 pounds. The role may involve working outdoors in various temperatures, in noisy environments, near moving mechanical parts, or around fumes and dust.

Physical demands include repetitive hand use, standing for prolonged periods, bending, twisting, reaching, crouching, or kneeling.

• Pre‑delivery vehicle preparations
• Learning the delivery area
• Checking orders for quality and accuracy
• Providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers in person or by phone
• Food preparation and packaging
• Taking orders and collecting payments
• Cleaning and maintenance of the store and its equipment
• Rotating commissary deliveries

Wage for all Delivery Drivers is $17.13, plus tips and $0.44 per mile driven on shift.

• Have cash management skills
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works, and have been licensed for two or more years
• Have an acceptable motor vehicle report/driving abstract, including no more than two moving violations and one accident in the last year. Anyone with a DUI or a speeding ticket over 24 mph will not be considered.
• Be insured and have a satisfactory vehicle
• Be able to work long hours, scheduled or unscheduled, including nights, weekends, and emergencies
• Be willing to learn and be comfortable being cross‑trained and performing other workstation duties within the restaurant as needed
• Be able to work the above listed duties with reasonable accommodation if needed
