Position: Bus Monitor- 4.5 Hours/day
Location: Royal City

- Friday 4.5 hours/day

Job Description

* Assist the bus driver in providing safe transportation to handicapped students

* Assist the bus driver in handling wheelchair riders

* Assist the bus driver in case of an emergency

* Maintain discipline on the bus

* Assist individual students as needed

* Assist with personal hygiene issues

* Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Director

Minimum Qualifications

* High School graduate, or GED.

* Ability to lift 40 pounds

* Possess a current First Aid Card

* Must be able to follow oral and written instructions

* Must be able to work patiently with special needs students

* Agility to enter and exit the bus using the emergency exit

* Such alternatives to the above qualifications as deemed necessary and appropriate by the Transportation Director

Terms of Employment

* Starting Date: 03/02/2025 unless otherwise specified, 25-26 School Year

* Salary: $19.56-$24.83 hourly per PSE Salary Schedule  School Year

* Hours:

4.5 Hours/day- 2.25 AM and 2.25 PM

* Benefits:
