Class A Delivery Driver

Job Details

Base pay starts at $31.00 per hour. Shift: Day Shift, Full Time.

The Driver will be expected to transport, deliver, and/or unload windows and patio door products to customers in a safe and timely manner to dealers, distribution centers, and/or construction job sites using a tractor‑trailer. This position requires a wide range of skills from practicing safe driving and delivery to top‑notch customer service. It runs overnight 2–3 times a week.

• Read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs/signals, respond to inquiries, and make entries on reports/records per DOT Reg 391.11
• Complete all assigned delivery routes. Driver will deliver to local construction jobsites and is responsible for manually offloading product
• Address customer questions, issues and concerns in a professional and timely fashion
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times in both actions and personal appearance
• Adhere to Cascade policies and procedures
• Complete all delivery and return documentation accurately and legibly
• Maintain driver logs and inspections
• Maintain equipment in a neat, clean and organized condition
• Uphold all safety practices according to safety handbook and DOT regulations
• Load and unload trucks and assist others with loading and unloading
• Do 5 to 12 stops in Central Washington market
• Will spend 50% time loading/unloading and 50% of the time driving
• Will spend one to two nights out on the road

• Valid CDL A driver's license with a clean driving record
• Must be DOT compliant
• 2 years of previous tractor‑trailer driving experience including winter driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 experience is acceptable)
• Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations with general mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, read road signs, maintain logs, etc.
• Ability to follow instructions and take directions via on‑board computer system and by phone
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist with or without assistance
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and written
• Must be able to work independently
• Ability to work effectively with people in a fast‑paced environment
