Jefferson County Public Works Department seeks a part-time Road Maintenance Flagger/Laborer. This position performs various road maintenance tasks including traffic control, cleaning culverts, cleaning drainage ditches, patching roads, and litter pickup. This is a clerk hire position that works a maximum of 69 hours per month.

Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). Washington State Traffic Control Flagger certification card desirable; however, Employer can provide training for the right candidate.
Valid WA State driver’s license with clean driving record.
Hours & CompensationThis is a part-time Clerk Hire position that may work up to 69 hours per month. The pay rate for this position is $32.00 per hour. This position has no benefits, except sick leave. This position earns one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked.
