CDL TRUCK Driver (Class A)

Pay: $25.00–$30.00 DOE

We are seeking a dependable and safety‑focused CDL Driver to support local transportation needs in the Wenatchee area. This full‑time position involves operating commercial vehicles on local routes, ensuring timely and safe delivery while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations. Drivers are home daily.

Job Duties:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Transfer finished products to other local shipping facilities daily, ensuring all paperwork and shipments are correctly delivered to the appropriate docks.
• Load and secure freight, bins, and other items as needed; be familiar with using cable winches and strapping equipment.
• Unload freight, bins, and other items as required.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment each day to confirm they’re in proper working condition and safe for the road.
• Fill out a daily vehicle check sheet and submit it to the Manager. Drivers must always ensure their vehicle meets state and federal safety standards.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment safely and efficiently when loading or unloading vehicles.
• Comply with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Observe all plant safety rules, guidelines, and policies.
• Report immediately to Crunch Pak Management if inspected, warned, or cited by law enforcement, including providing any relevant reports or citations.
• Inform Crunch Pak Management right away of any changes to your CDL status or any legal or health issues that could impact your ability to safely or legally drive a commercial vehicle.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Ensure vehicles and equipment remain clean and presentable.
• Operate additional equipment when required to fulfill job assignments.
• Perform work and drive with professionalism, representing the company positively to the public and community.
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by your supervisor or Crunch Pak manager.

Qualifications:

• Physically fit, able to bend, kneel, twist, crawl, stoop, and climb ladders.
• Able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds.
• Valid unrestricted CDL License, current DOT physical certification, and a clean 2 year driving abstract.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience, including Refer and Flatbed.
• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift preferred but not required.
