Truck Driver

Description

The employee drives a combination flatbed truck. The employee is responsible for the transport and deliver of lumber products. The employee occasionally operates a forklift to load and unload the truck. The employee must also secure the loads on the trailers by tossing nylon straps over the load and tightening the straps in winches affixed to the sides of the trailer.

• Drive a combination flatbed truck.
• Transport and deliver lumber products.
• Occasionally operate a forklift to load and unload the truck.
• Secure loads on trailers by tossing nylon straps over the load and tightening the straps in winches affixed to the trailer sides.
• Perform daily inspection of the tractor/power unit and both trailers.
• Make minor repairs or adjustments using simple hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers and wrenches.
• Supervise loading of trailers to ensure loads are positioned properly.
• Fuel the truck daily.

• Must have a class A CDL.
• Ability to drive in both Oregon and Washington.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

• Must be able to work up to 10 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and adhere to a no drug policy.

Dayshift hours.

$25.00-$27.58
