Overview
Position Summary... What you'll do... Effectively leads and develops teams through teaching training and actively listening to associates. Tours the store and provides feedback. Introduces and leads company transformation initiatives; communicates business objectives to teams; models customer service standards; supports customer service efforts including community programs; develops corrective action plans and leads process improvement to ensure a high‑quality customer experience. Contributes to financial performance by evaluating PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses;
monitors inventory and operational processes; ensures automation equipment functions; supports picking, replenishment and staging operations; coordinates and oversees job-related activities with key stakeholders; provides supervision and development opportunities for associates; ensures policy compliance and supports ethics and integrity; prioritizes sustainability and associates engagement across the club area of responsibility. This role emphasizes building high‑performing teams, fostering belonging, and acting with integrity while serving customers and delivering results.
- Lead and develop teams through training, feedback, and collaboration across store operations, technology use, merchandising, and company direction.
- Introduce and lead transformation initiatives; communicate business objectives; set expectations and guidelines for implementing business solutions.
- Model service excellence using the One Best Way (OBW) service model; address customer needs and community outreach programs.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans; drive process improvements to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.
- Manage financial performance for the designated store area by examining PL statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses.
- Monitor inventory and operational processes; implement action plans to control shrink and meet sales and profit goals.
- Ensure automation equipment operates effectively; manage product flow and coordinate with maintenance or vendor teams; follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Support picking, replenishment and staging operations; troubleshoot basic software errors; serve as primary contact for site incidents and escalate when needed.
- Participate in key communication forums; document lessons learned and continuous improvement recommendations to the Market Fulfillment Center technology vendor.
- Coordinate and oversee activities by building relationships with stakeholders; support plans to meet customer and business needs; measure progress and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide supervision and development for associates; hire, train, mentor, assign duties, recognize contributions, and foster a sense of belonging.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics; promote Open Door Policy in executing business processes.
- Sustainability: communicate PSP sustainability values and goals; connect initiatives to club responsibilities; promote waste reduction and energy efficiency.
- Promote associate engagement year‑round; implement action plans from associate feedback surveys; support associate health and wellbeing.
- Identify and develop talent; build high‑performing teams; model integrity, collaboration, and respect; motivate and influence through communication and action.
- Act with integrity and serve customers by applying EDLP/EDLC models to plans; use data insights for decisions balancing short and long‑term priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and skills; support others through change.
