Overview
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Night Shift RN – Med/Surg Unit, Full‑Time | 36 hrs/week, Shift: Days 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM.
Compensation & Benefits- Sign‑On Bonus: $20,000 for Experienced RNs, $15,000 for New Graduate Nurses.
- Stay Premium Pay: Earn up to $8/hr extra based on years of Mercy service.

Welcome to our 30‑bed Med/Surg unit where teamwork, accountability, and support are the foundation of our culture. Patient mix includes GI & Oncology, Post‑Op Recovery, COPD & Pneumonia, UTI & Dehydration, Complex Wound Care. RN‑to‑Patient ratio 1:6, supported by Patient Care Associates on every shift.
Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Active RN license (state‑specific or compact) meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
- Certifications:
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support; BLS – Basic Life Support (or within 30 days of hire); any unit‑specific certifications with timeline for completion. - Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs; prolonged standing/walking; ability to bend, kneel, twist, squat as needed.
