Zone Store Customer Service Specialist

Job Description

Essential to the retail stores. Customer Service Specialists work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin‑Williams products, recommend solutions, resolve concerns, maintain high visual standards, and achieve sales goals.

This full‑time position will be based at Store #1677, 1006

E. Red Cliffs Drive, Washington, UT 84780, and Store #8172, 244 North Bluff Ste. 3, St George, UT 84770.

Applicants will undergo a criminal history review and may work with minors and handle cash, personal information, and store merchandise.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in compliance with store policies.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulate documentation.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist in deliveries as needed.
• Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without needing sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
• Ability to retrieve material from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Experience selling paint and paint‑related products.
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
