Role Overview

As a Funding Specialist, you will drive deals to completion, collaborate across teams, and maintain momentum in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and advance deals through each stage of the funding funnel, collaborating cross‑functionally to eliminate bottlenecks, maintain momentum, and achieve daily funding and conversion targets with precision and speed.
  • Work and communicate with ISO sales reps and decision makers to fund opportunities.
  • Proactively reach out to ISO sales reps to win deals through exceptions to deal terms.
  • Provide excellent customer service to ISO partners; resolve issues and build trust while creating urgency in a transactional sales environment.
  • Collaborate with underwriting team to drive profitable volume.
  • Manage the flow of deal requirements and keep the sales pipeline moving timely.
  • Problem‑solve with internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Act with urgency to ensure timely responses to requests both internally and externally.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years in sales, deal desk or related role.
  • Experience handling high volume inbound/outbound calls, emails, texts, chats and short sales cycle deals.
  • Experience held to volume and response metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive with strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Phone etiquette with internal and external partners.
  • Strong customer service skills; manage difficult conversations.
Work Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST

Compensation

Annual Targeted Salary: $67,000 – $75,000 USD

Monthly Variable: potential to earn an additional $1,200 USD per month, determined by performance metrics.
