About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled and licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in residential electrical installation, takes pride in craftsmanship, has a strong work ethic, and the desire for growth and learning.
Responsibilities:
* Perform electrical installations for custom residential and automation projects.
* Work closely with project managers and integration technicians to ensure seamless system performance.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
* Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues.
* Maintain compliance with Utah electrical codes and safety standards.
* Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to apprentices and team members.
Requirements:
* Active Utah Journeyman Electrician License (required).
* Minimum 3+ years of residential electrical experience.
* Experience in high-end residential or home automation environments preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and professionalism.
* Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools; ohmmeters; and other diagnostic equipment
* Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical installations
* Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications
* Previous experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential
