Cross Dock Warehouse Associate

The Cross Dock I unloads and loads incoming and outgoing trailers, sorts, palletizes, and moves product.

• Use a Radio Frequency (RF) unit to track movement of product entering and leaving the building by scanning designated labels and barcodes.
• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• Use an electric power jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity.
• May need to complete and maintain San Mar’s Lift Operator Certification every two years.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to learn Internal Operating System and operate RF unit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Overtime may be required on essential days.

$20.82 - $25.50 per hour (plus a $1.00 shift differential).

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 2:30pm – 11:00pm.

Paid Time Off:
Accrue PTO weekly based on hours worked (up to 112 hours per year to start). 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

Work environment is a DC warehouse with routine standing, walking, talking, and hearing. Lifting up to 60 pounds may be required. Exposure to dust, variable weather, and noise. Use of powered equipment and personal protective equipment may be required. Reasonable English literacy is required for operation of machines and daily paperwork.
