The Field Engineer Intern supports marine and heavy civil construction projects through a combination of field and office-based experiences. Working alongside experienced engineers, project managers, and construction professionals, this role provides hands‑on exposure to project planning, estimating, and scheduling while gaining meaningful experience on complex, high‑impact projects. Interns will be immersed in Ballard’s collaborative, safety‑first culture and have the opportunity to learn from industry leaders, build relationships, and develop the skills needed to launch a successful career in construction.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Must have completed at least two years of coursework (sophomore standing or higher) by the start of the internship.
