Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) – LPN
Arcadia at Lookout Ridge – Washougal, WA
Arcadia at Lookout Ridge is seeking a compassionate, organized, and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Resident Care Coordinator (RCC).
This leadership position works closely with the Registered Nurse (RN) and Resident Services Director (RSD) to support resident care, clinical compliance, staff development, and overall quality of services within our assisted living community. We are looking for a nurse who is confident, flexible, solutions-oriented, and passionate about serving seniors.
Required Qualifications- Active Washington State LPN license in good standing
- Assisted Living experience required
- Experience with resident assessments, care planning, and documentation
- Knowledge of nurse delegation and Washington State assisted living regulations
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and hold staff accountable
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexible schedule with availability to assist with staffing support as needed
- Nurse Delegation certification
- Nurse Delegation with Special Focus on Diabetes certification
- Experience supervising caregivers and medication technicians
- Experience with state surveys and regulatory compliance
- Work collaboratively with the RN and RSD to ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
- Complete resident assessments and participate in care plan development and updates
- Coordinate resident care services and monitor changes in resident condition
- Support nurse delegation processes and caregiver training
- Monitor caregiver documentation and compliance with community policies and state regulations
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to caregivers and medication technicians
- Assist with resident move-ins, assessments, and care transitions
- Monitor medication administration practices and documentation
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed
- Assist with staffing support and shift coverage when necessary
- Promote a culture of resident-centered care, accountability, and teamwork
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable having accountability conversations and coaching staff
- Professional, approachable, and solution-focused
- Adaptable and willing to support the team where needed
- Passionate about serving seniors and improving quality of care
