Location: Wasilla, Alaska
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities Clinic Responsibilities- Secure patient information in accordance with privacy and confidentiality standards.
- Ensure the lobby and administrative workstations are clean, organized, and properly shut down.
- Greet, check in, and check out patients in a warm and professional manner.
- Schedule, adjust, and confirm patient appointments as needed.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility in advance of appointments.
- Confirm VA and Tricare authorizations for applicable visits.
- Answer incoming phone calls promptly, addressing questions or routing callers as appropriate.
- React accordingly to voicemails by addressing concerns or routing callers as appropriate.
- Review the "Bumped List" daily and proactively contact patients to reschedule.
- Monitor the "Wait List" and identify openings in provider schedules.
- Contact eligible patients to offer available appointment slots.
- Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as assigned.
- Previous medical receptionist or healthcare administrative experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional, courteous, and patient-focused communication skills.
- Familiarity with medical scheduling systems, insurance verification, and electronic health records is a plus.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.

Salary: $20 - $24 per hour
