Mat‑Su Health Services, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), invites a Receptionist to join our Front Desk team. Working here means making a difference for underserved populations and helping people with real challenges.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls and provide information to staff and patients.
- Schedule appointments using a complex scheduling system.
- Collect and verify registration information.
- Demonstrate telephone etiquette, keyboarding, ten‑key, and computer program proficiency.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
- Communicate in a positive, courteous, and caring manner to all visitors.
- High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Minimum one year of experience in medical office reception, billing, or scheduling.
- Minimum one year of experience answering a multi‑line phone system.
- Commitment to providing high‑quality customer service.
- Clear fingerprint background check prior to employment.
