Position Overview
Looking for more than just another construction job? Join a team where hard work, integrity, and adventure come together in some of Alaska's most remote and breathtaking landscapes. YKPS is seeking motivated, hardworking, and safety-focused Pad Builders to support exploration and construction projects throughout remote Alaska. This position offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects while experiencing the challenge, camaraderie, and adventure that come with living and working in the Alaska wilderness.
Pad Builders perform a variety of construction, fabrication, and labor-intensive tasks, including material handling, site preparation, pad construction, and general project support. Work is often performed in mountainous terrain, remote locations, and variable weather conditions, requiring adaptability, resilience, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in demanding environments. Candidates should be capable of following plans, procedures, and direction from supervisors while maintaining a high standard of workmanship and professionalism.
Successful Pad Builders take pride in their work, contribute positively to the team, and embrace the challenges and rewards of working in Alaska's backcountry. If you're looking for an opportunity to step away from the ordinary, build something meaningful, and be part of a team that values hard work and integrity, we'd like to hear from you.
