Base pay range$18.88/hr - $20.01/hr
Responsibilities
- Perform various construction tasks including but not limited to framing, drywall installation, flooring, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery, hand tools, and power tools to complete projects safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy in construction work
- Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
- Assist in the preparation and cleanup of construction sites
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications
- Collaborate with other workers, contractors, and supervisors to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Identify and report any issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- Perform other duties as required to support the successful completion of construction projects
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and the ability to perform a wide range of construction tasks
- This position requires the ability to work independently or as part of a team, while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on all construction projects
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction or trade-related field
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, construction machinery, and other related equipment
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and handle physically demanding tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
