CCS EARLY LEARNINGPAT (Parents as Teachers) Coordinator (Administration) – The Parents as Teachers (PAT) Coordinator will supervise PAT activities at CCS Early Learning. This includes directing, coordinating, and supporting Parent Educators as they work directly with caregivers of children, providing information regarding child development and social emotional learning using strengths based, evidence-based curriculum and activities. Collaboration will be key within the organization and with other area community partners.

• High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Degree Earned in Countries Outside the United States
• Two Years’ Previous Supervised Work Experience with Young Children and/or Parents
• Associate’s Degree in Human Services, Early Childhood, or Related Field Required
• (Bachelor’s Degree Preferred)
• Experience Working with People of Diverse Cultures and Socio-Economic Backgrounds
• Experience with Windows Computer Applications for Word Processing and Data Entry
• Prior Supervisory Experience Preferred
• Knowledge of Early Childhood Development with Respect to Children from Birth Through Age 5
• Knowledge and Experience in Principles of Child Health, Safety, and Nutrition as well as Adult Learning
• Knowledge of Family Issues and Resources Available to Families
• Flexible Schedule to Include Some Evenings and Weekends to Help Assist Home Educators

Annual Physical/Health HistoryCPR and First Aid Certification Food Handlers Certification Proof of current Driver’s License and auto insurance

Clear any Current CCS Insurance Policy Requirements to be an Insured Driver Fingerprinting /Background Check renewal as required

Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Capable of working in noisy and/or crowded environments

Stand and/or sit for extended periods of time interchangeably

Capable of getting up and down from the floor with ease; including the ability to stoop, bend, lift and reach.

Schedule:

Full-time (40 hrs/wk), Full-Year (48 weeks/yr)
Salary: $26.14 – $41.91 per hour DOE and education (pay range J through N).
