If you’re an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician with expertise in turboprop aircraft, The Blackhawk Group is seeking your talent to join our dynamic team in Wasilla, AK.

This is a weekend role with a schedule of Friday-Monday, 10 hr days. Shift Differential is available!

This vital role supports our aircraft maintenance operations by performing routine maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, and ensuring all components meet industry safety standards. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining the high-quality standards that our clients rely on. • Perform routine maintenance updates on various aircraft systems and accessories.
• Conduct regular maintenance tests and checks to ensure all components are fully functional.
• Test aircraft safety and install replacement parts as needed for damaged or faulty components.
• Maintain detailed reports and logs of inventory and completed work.
• Diagnose and efficiently resolve faults in aircraft systems.
• Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and technological developments.
• Understand and adapt to changes in aircraft components and systems.

• A & P License, preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in aircraft maintenance, with strong expertise in King Air 200 and 350, Beechcraft 1900, Pilatus PC-12, Caravan 208, and Kodiak aircraft.
• Knowledge of precision tools and computerized equipment used in aviation repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Ability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Demonstrates exceptional character and professionalism.
• Experience working with sheet metal and composite materials.
• Familiarity with Citation aircraft.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and advancements in the aviation industry.
