Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Safety Consultant. The Safety Consultant will be responsible for assessing workplace safety practices, conducting remote evaluations, implementing safety programs, and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. The role involves delivering safety training, providing expertise in safety engineering and EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety), and assisting organizations in building a sustainable safety culture.

Collaborative work with management teams, providing process safety solutions, and conducting safety audits will also be key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct remote and on-site (as required) safety assessments, audits, and program evaluations
  • Advise clients on compliance with applicable safety regulations and industry standards
  • Develop, review, and update safety policies, procedures, and training materials
  • Identify workplace hazards and recommend practical corrective actions
  • Assist clients with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and prevention strategies
  • Prepare clear, professional reports and documentation for clients and internal teams
  • Stay current with changes in safety regulations, best practices, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with internal team members to deliver high-quality consulting services
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Safety Engineering and Process Safety
  • Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) principles
  • Experience in conducting workplace safety training programs
  • Ability to perform assessments and implement safety culture strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing multiple projects
  • Relevant certifications in safety, health, or environmental fields are an advantage
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
