Manufacturing Engineering Manager – Cleveland, Ohio Relocation assistance available Products are: high-performance electrical and electronic interconnects
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager candidate will lead and advance mold/stamping tool procurement, manufacturing, maintenance, and repair operations. The successful candidate will oversee tooling for our Vertical Arburg (14–28 ton) and Horizontal Milacron/Arburg (33–110 ton) machines, as well as high-speed stamping equipment, and drive automation, process optimization, and team development to achieve world‑class manufacturing performance.
- Lead and develop in‑house Tool Room and toolmaking staff.
- Lead and mentor process and stamping engineers in high‑precision molding operations.
- Implement molding, automation, and material reprocessing to reduce waste.
- Oversee tooling and equipment sourcing to meet cost, technology, and lead‑time goals.
- Ensure tight‑tolerance production (±0.001” typical, ±0.0005” critical).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance manufacturability and quality.
- BS in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
- 5+ years in injection molding; connector or precision‑component experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of the application of Solid Works and mold flow analysis software.
- Proven leadership, troubleshooting, and automation experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of injection molding and stamping tools.
- Previous experience successfully managing a tool room.

- Knowledge of process engineering methodologies, including Six Sigma principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and management teams.
- Ability to balance immediate impact with long‑term development.
- ITAR requirements: US citizenship or permanent US residency.
