IT Project Manager, IT Consultant
Symmetrio is recruiting a Service Now Program Manager consultant for its customer, a large, complex international hospitality and technology company. The Service Now Program Manager consultant will manage multiple work streams within the enterprise Service Now program to ensure alignment with business priorities, value realization, services improvement and creation, and long-term platform sustainability.
This role partners closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and IT leadership to ensure workstream compliance with portfolio strategy, prioritize investments, and govern delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong executive presence, deep Service Now program experience, and a disciplined approach grounded in Lean, Six Sigma, ITSM, ITIL, and Agile methodologies.
This is a remote, 6-month contract opportunity with high possibility for extension.
Responsibilities- Partner with business and IT executives to align Service Now initiatives with strategic business objectives and desired outcomes.
- Facilitate executive‑level discussions to assess tradeoffs, sequence work streams, and make informed prioritization decisions.
- Oversee multiple Service Now work streams (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, Sec Ops, custom workflows), ensuring coordination and alignment.
- Ensure consistent application of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, and ITSM principles across Service Now delivery efforts.
- Track and communicate performance, risks, dependencies, and value realization to senior leadership.
- Collaborate with platform owners, architects, and delivery teams to balance innovation, technical health, and operational stability.
- Drive continuous improvement of project management practices, including demand management, capacity planning, and delivery predictability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of experience in portfolio management, program management, or platform leadership within large enterprises.
- Proven experience managing complex Service Now programs across multiple modules and business functions.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leaders and facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Deep understanding of ITSM and ITIL practices and how they apply to Service Now implementations.
- Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies to technology and process transformation initiatives.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic execution in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with enterprise governance, demand management, and value‑based prioritization.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, SAFe, PMP, Service Now CSA).
