Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Quality Assurance Lead to champion quality across our software development lifecycle. As QA Lead, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing a strategy to ensure delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable HIPAA-compliant software products. You will lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers embedded within multiple agile Scrum teams, fostering a collaborative and quality-focused environment.

This role requires a strong technical background in both manual and automation testing, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HIPAA-compliant QA strategies, test plans, and test cases in a Dev Ops delivery culture that releases to production daily.
• Drive the development and execution of automated test scripts across different layers of the application (micro frontend, microservice, data layer). Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and frameworks.
• Possess a strong understanding of manual testing methodologies and the ability to design and execute thorough manual test cases.
• Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA Engineers, providing technical direction and hands-on support.
• Work closely and collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers, Dev Ops Engineers, and other stakeholders across multiple Scrum teams to ensure quality is integrated throughout the development process.
• Champion quality standards and best practices within the organization, promoting a "quality-first" mindset.
• Oversee the defect tracking process, ensuring timely identification, documentation, communication, and resolution of defects.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of performance, load, and reliability testing efforts.
• Define and track key quality metrics, providing regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall product quality to stakeholders.
• Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify and communicate potential quality risks and contribute to mitigation strategies.

• Extensive experience (5+ years) in software quality assurance, with a significant portion focused on both manual and automation testing.
• Experience writing and managing test plans in test management suites (e.g. Xray, QMetry, Test Rail, Qase).
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring QA teams, preferably within an agile/Scrum environment.
• Deep understanding of different testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Healthcare industry experience, specifically in a HIPAA-compliant environment.
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Experience working in a microservices architecture is a plus.
