Title: RN Cardiac Catheterization
Compensation: $80,683 to $118,019 annually based on $38.79 to $56.74 per hour at 40 hrs per week and 52 weeks per year. Evenings add $2.75 per hour. Nights add $4.65 per hour. Weekends add $2.50 per hour. On call adds $4.50 per hour. Certification pay up to $2.00 per hour for approved RN certifications.
Schedule: Full time. 12 hour shifts. Rotating weekends and holidays. 8 to 10 call shifts per 4 week period. Must be within 30 minutes for call response.
High acuity cardiac cath environment supporting coronary, peripheral, EP device and ablation, IR and structural heart. Three rooms with 4 to 6 daily cases.
Key responsibilities- Prepare, circulate and monitor for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Manage sedation administration and continuous monitoring
- Perform post procedure care including sheath removal and hemostasis
- Coordinate handoffs and documentation to ensure timely reads and throughput
- Support emergencies with calm prioritization and strong communication
- RN license with eligibility for Alaska
- BLS and ACLS
- 2 to 3 years Cath Lab RN or 5 years high acuity ICU or equivalent
- Proven competence with sedation medications and monitoring
- Bachelors in Nursing
- Advanced cardiac certifications
Commutable alternate: Wasilla and Palmer commuters are common. Note that call coverage requires being within 30 minutes of the Anchorage procedure campus.
