Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Description

Provides and assists in direct patient care under the supervision of a RN/LPN and whose activities require an understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences.

Full Time 36-hour weekly, (3) 12-hour shifts weekly

Day Shifts

• Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements.
• Upon hire:
  Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
• Within 30 days of hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

• Some college courses in nursing or therapy field.
• 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Pay Range: $21.16 - $32.37
