Business Development Manager

• Manage and grow the entire Mercury Marine dealer network within sales zone
• Build relationships with dealers, OEM's, customers
• Develop strategic territory growth plans
• Coach, consult, develop, and grow sales volume, market share
• Develop a strategy to service existing accounts
• Monitor weekly reports and take action as needed
• Work in National, Regional and local boat shows
• Utilize computer and CRM tools to manage customer accounts
• Assure that sales and marketing activities comply with corporate policies

• At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing or equivalent
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of related business work experience within the Marine Industry, Recreational Industry or in the areas of Sales, Business or Marketing is preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint)
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel at least 60% overnight.

Demonstrates expertise in managing dealer networks and developing strategic growth plans within the Marine and Recreational Industries. Strong ability to build relationships and drive sales volume while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
