This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Operator based in Wasilla, Alaska. The HDD Operator will be responsible for operating drilling machinery, ensuring precise drilling execution, maintaining and inspecting equipment, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently. The role requires monitoring drilling activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing reporting documentation accurately.

• Proficiency in operating Horizontal Directional Drilling equipment and performing related tasks with precision
• Experience with general machinery maintenance and the ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to implement them in an on‑site environment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drilling specifications
• Physical stamina and the capacity to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Previous experience in underground utilities or related industries is a plus
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, CDL is an advantage
