Social Services Program Coordinator

This position is open to Alaska Residents only. Please check our residency definition to determine if you qualify. The Department of Family and Community Services, Office of Children's Services (OCS) is recruiting for full-time Social Services Program Coordinator located in Anchorage or Wasilla, Alaska.

What you will be doing The Social Services Program Coordinator (SSPC) for the Team Decision Making (TDM) Unit is responsible for the overall day to day, performance, coordination, management and maintenance of the TDM team. The TDM Unit is responsible for coordinating and facilitating ongoing meetings for children and youth that have placement search challenges. The SSPC will oversee unit productivity, efficiency, quality, and customer service.

The SSPC will regularly collaborate and consult with OCS Licensing and Protective Services teams and refer to regulatory & statutory requirements and policies and procedures. This position is intended to bridge the gap between TDM and supporting the Resource Family Unit, ensuring the two programs function in alignment to support shared objectives.

Special Note All positions require valid  successful completion of a background investigation, including fingerprinting and a criminal records check.
