POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of petroleum products throughout the Anchorage and surrounding area while providing excellent customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Must possess a valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsements. Maintain a clean driving record and pass all random drug and alcohol tests.
A. JOB DUTIESTransports petroleum product in the Anchorage, Mat-Su Valley and the Kenai Peninsula.
Performs all work in a safe and efficient manner
Keeps accurate truck logs
Performs daily inspections, and report all necessary mechanical repairs to Mechanic.
Keeps equipment truck in clean and working order
Ensures proper procedure is followed for task being performed.
Ensures meter sheets, dailies, and meters balance of fuel delivered are completed daily and are properly billed and legible
Provides excellent service to all customers both internal and external
Informs management of safety, environmental, and mechanical concerns in a timely manner.
Provides advance notice for time off.
Communicates regularly with dispatch during working hours.
This position requires overtime and may be called upon to provide call out duties.
Dress Code: This position requires the incumbent to wear a company provided uniform. Drivers should dress for the current outdoor conditions and wear over the ankle boots. Blue or Black jeans are acceptable and shorts and sweat pants are not allowed. Uniforms are to be kept clean so as to maintain their useful life and present a clean image.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
(Any equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)
1.
Education:
High School diploma or GED is required.
2.
Experience:
A minimum of two years driving experience in Alaska with a class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsements. Must be able to operate a manual transmission.
3. Licensure/Certification:
Valid Class A, Driver’s Medical Card, Hazmat endorsements. Must be able to attain a TWIC Card within 30 days of hire date. Must be able to pass a pre-hire drug screening, and background check. A Shoreside Petroleum pre-hire driving test will be administered after the interview process, this test will include pre-trip inspection, maneuvering, and on road driving.
