You must be 18 years of age, hold a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, and have access to an insured vehicle for delivery. Navigational skills are required to read maps, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and handle adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings.

Many team members progress from delivery driver to management, franchise owner, or corporate operations manager.

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training

Orientation and on‑the‑job training provided.

Communication Skills

• Understand and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Maintain motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for fast, precise movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather when performing outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F and above in some work areas.
• Sudden temperature changes in work area and while outside.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

SENSING

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

TEMPERAMENTS

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

• Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position.
• Walking: short distances for short durations on various surfaces.
• Sitting: paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
• Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds may be lifted and stacked.
• Carrying: large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of dough carried as required.
• Pushing and pulling: moving trays on dollies with up to 7.5 pounds of force.
• Climbing: occasionally navigate stairs or ladders.
• Forward bending, crouching/squatting, reaching, and hand tasks are performed periodically throughout the day.
• Use of tools: computers, telephones, calculators, pizza cutter, and peel.

• Deliver product by car to customer door.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle used for delivery.

• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings and private homes, while carrying products.

• Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing.
• Drive within a designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
• Travel between store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations.
• Navigate five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
