A well-established and growing commercial electrical construction company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Estimator toleadestimatingoperations,improvebidaccuracy,andprovidementorshiptoanestablishedestimatingteam.
Thisisaconfidentialdirect-hireopportunitywithlong-termleadershipgrowthpotential.
Theorganizationhasbuiltastrongreputationforqualityexecution,accountability,andcollaborationacrossfieldandofficeoperations.
Thisrolewillworkcloselywithexecutiveleadershiponbidstrategy,backlog planning,andcontinuousimprovementinitiatives.
The Senior Electrical Estimatorwilloverseeestimatingeffortsforlarge -scalecommercialandmission-criticalelectricalconstructionprojectswhileprovidingleadershipandqualitycontrolfortheestimatingdepartment.
Thisindividualwillplayakeyroleinimprovingestimatingprocesses,managing risk,andensuringcompetitiveandaccurateproposals.
- Leadandoverseetheestimatingteam
- Reviewestimatesandproposalspriortosubmission
- Provide mentorship,coaching,andconstructivefeedbacktoestimators
- Improveestimatingprocesses,consistency,and efficiency
- Partnerwithexecutiveleadershiponbidstrategyandforecasting
- Prepareandleadestimatesformajorcommercialelectricalprojects
- Performdetailedquantitytake-offsanddevelopcomprehensivecostproposals
- Ensureestimatesaccountforlabor,materials,subcontractors,scheduling,andrisk
- Review blueprints,specifications,andconstructiondocuments
- Compilecompletebidpackagesandsupportingdocumentation
- Identifyscopegaps,pricing exposure,andschedulerisks
- Recommendvalueengineeringopportunitieswhereappropriate
- Trackdeadlinesandensuretimelysubmissionofcompetitivebids
- Buildrelationshipswithclients,vendors,subcontractors,andgeneralcontractors
- Solicitandevaluatesubcontractorandsupplierpricing
- Participateinpre-bidmeetingsandsitewalk-throughs
- 7+yearsofelectricalestimatingexperience
- 2+yearsofestimatingleadershipormanagementexperience
- Strongcommercialelectricalconstructionbackground
- Experiencewithelectricaltakeoffs,budgeting,andblueprintinterpretation
- Abilitytoidentifybidrisksandscopegaps
- Experiencereviewingandoverseeingproposals
- Strongmentorshipandleadershipcapabilities
- Proficiencywithelectricalestimatingsoftware
