We are seeking a Dental Patient Care Coordinator (Full‑Time Dental Insurance Coordinator) to join our front‑office team. The role focuses on insurance verification, maintaining accurate front‑office schedules, and providing outstanding patient communication. This is not a billing/claims role; those responsibilities are handled by a dedicated billing team.

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits accuracy using Dentrix Ascend.
• Greet patients and manage check‑in/out with a warm, positive attitude.
• Calculate copays clearly for parents.
• Optimize the practice schedule, ensuring it stays filled and flows smoothly.
• Communicate with parents regarding coverage, authorizations, and treatment timing.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to avoid delays.
• Support a fast‑paced dental environment with professionalism and empathy.

• Prior experience in a dental front‑office role with insurance knowledge.
• Strong understanding of dental insurance breakdowns.
• Ability to identify and resolve insurance discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Dentrix Ascend or willingness to learn quickly.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
